Heart Attack Symptoms in Women
A common belief is that since heart attacks are usually caused by extreme anxiety among women, women tend to have more anxiety-like heart attack symptoms. This includes a feeling of being fatigued, labored breathing and indigestion-like symptoms preceding the heart attack.
It has also been noticed that the onset of a heart attack is more painful among men as compared to female victims of heart attack symptoms in women. The rate at which the heart attack progresses, i.e. the increasing pain and progressive blockage of oxygenated blood supply to the heart, is also a lot slower among women. Thus, female heart attack victims have a marginal advantage in terms of seeking medical care in a timely manner.
